As we approach our next manuscript submission window, opening on 1 January, please note that we’ve made a few changes to the way we do things — to make things easier, clearer, and more timely for everyone. So, while you prepare your work for submission, please read the following carefully to make sure you meet all the criteria.
Firstly, submissions must now be received through our new dedicated email: submissions@scribepub.com.au
You will receive an automatic response from this mailbox, letting you know that your submission has landed. You’ll then hear from us again once we’ve had a chance to read your work, usually within three months (though it may take longer, depending on the number of submissions received).
Further to this, you are now free to send a whole manuscript at first point of contact — but you can also send a shorter sample if preferred.
Lastly, we are no longer able to accept paper submissions, unless we specifically request them.
You can find all the details of our new and improved manuscript policy here. Please read it carefully before sending us your work; submissions that do not match all our criteria will unfortunately not be assessed.
Please note: our children’s imprint, Scribble, is now closed for submissions until next year. Please check the Scribble website in January for dates and guidelines.
